If the payment were up to NGN 11,000, the system may either automatically upgrade to DStv Compact Plus and run only for one month. As long as the money is big enough for one month of a particular package, the DStv billing cycle will surely complete its 30 days count. However, the DStv GOtv systems responds to multiple months on an existing bouquet than upgrading to a higher package to run for one month. This usually happens unless a staff gives a system command to upgrade to such higher package on customer’s request.
Therefore, no money is lost as long as it entered the correct MultiChoice DStv or GOtv account.

Most outcome is that your GOtv is duly connected….but because your decoder was switched off at that time, the reconnection failed to revive the chanels.
If you have the MyGOtv App on your phone, you can log in and do an E16 RESET called CLEAR E16 ERROR CODE.
If you don’t have the App, pls download it and log in using your GOtv Account details.

Dear Chidinma, MultiChoice DStv or GOtv do not reverse cash or return cash into Bank accounts. If you made a wrong payment, you need to apply for reversal and submit details of the correct DStv or GOtv smartcard number or IUC number, where they shall transfer the subscription money to. They cannot return the money to your Bank account.
