Africa’s most popular cable TV company – MultiChoice has just launched new DStv GOtv packages to the delight of her subscribers. From November 2019, new bouquets for satellite and terrestrial TV brands launched. This new development also saw new channels and TV programs come into existence. certainly, it is the best way MultiChoice chooses to celebrate Christmas with her millions of subscribers scattered all over Africa. This article highlights all the new DStv GOtv packages recently introduced by the digital satellite and terrestrial pay-TV company – Multichoice.
Furthermore, you can now subscribe for quarter and yearly subscriptions on the lower package of GOtv – lite. However, MultiChoice retained some older packages on GOtv, removed some and added some new bouquets. The rundown below highlights the new packages and the old as well as their current price for subscription.
What New Packages on GOtv
MultiChoice has introduced the following new bouquet to their fleet of packages on GOtv;
- GOtv Supa
- GOtv Jolli
- Jinja
- Value
However, the older packages still available on GOtv remain the GOtv Max, Plus and Lite bouquet. We shall look at each package particularly before we see what is new on DStv.
GOtv Supa Package
This is a new package from GOtv and indeed, the highest in both channel content and price. Currently, the GOtv Supa cost of subscription is NGN 5,000 per month. Read up GOtv Supa Channel List, Subscription Details.
The GOtv Max
The Max is the highest packages on GOtv and offers over 85 world-class channels both local and international. The current price for subscription for GOtv Max is NGN 3,600 Nigerian naira. (See New GOtv Max Price from April 1, 2022)
GOtv Jolli – New GOtv Packages
The GOtv Jolli is a new bouquet, which is lower than Max but higher than GOtv Plus package. It offers over 72 channels and cost NGN 2,460 Naira for subscription. The channels on GOtv Jolli are both foreign and local. (See New GOtv Jolli Price from April 1, 2022)
GOtv Plus Package
With over 56 foreign and local channels, GOtv Plus ranks the third-highest. It follows after the Max and Jolli and has been in existence even before MultiChoice introduced new DStv GOtv packages. The GOtv Plus costs only NGN 1900 naira to subscribe to.
GOtv Jinja – New GOtv Packages
This is another new package from MultiChoice. This latest bouquet on GOtv features over 51 channels and costs only NGN 1,640 naira to subscribe. however, you might want to know the channels it contains considering your favorites before paying for subscription. GOtv Value – New GOtv Packages
This is another new release from MultiChoice with a classic collection of over 25 channels. The cost of subscription is NGN 1,250.
GOtv Lite
The Lite on GOtv is an old package, which existed as a single monthly periodic subscription before the introduction of new DStv GOtv packages this year.. However, a innovation now allows you to subscriber for a three months (quarterly) plan and also for yearly (annual) plan. For the quarterly arrangement on GOtv Lite, the price is NGN 1,050. The annual plan subscription costs NGN 3,100 and allows for a one month discount. However, the usual monthly subscription for GOtv Lite remains available and costs NGN 400. Still active on the existing DStv packages, two more new packages are now active and available on MultiChoice DStv list of packages. The old bouquet remain;

DStv ComFam

DStv Yanga
The DStv Yanga is another new consolation to usual subscribers to the DStv Access package. It has a little increment of NGN 565 above the Access package to cost NGN 2,565.
