The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially announced its 2019 / 2020 job vacancies for graduates and post-graduates. The NAF is currently enlisting graduates and post-graduates for training as Cadets for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC). Furthermore, the Nigerian Air Force seeks to use technology to drive its human and material resource development. However, one major aspect of its vision lies in its medical resources. The Nigeria Air Force has steadily marked success stories since take off many years ago. As the airiel defense apparatus of Nigeria, the Air Force has continued to grow in officers and men, weapons, tactics, technology and all-round capacity. With so many successful missions to their credit, the Air Force seeks to beef up in men and capacity. Technology remains central to the operations of the Air Force hence, their current need to fill more gaps with men in medical and technology-related fields.
Eligibility for the NAF DSSC Graduate Job Vacancies
- All applicants must be Nigerians.
- A height of not less than 1.66m tall for male and not less than 1.63m tall for female.
- Applicants for the Nigeria Air Force DSSC graduate jobs should be between 20 and 30 years by 30th September 2020. However, those applying for consultancy positions should not be more than 40years.
Qualifications for NAF DSSC Graduate Jobs
Interested applicants for the 2019 / 2020 Nigeria Air Force DSSC graduate jobs must possess relevant qualifications in the following fields;
- Medical Consultants
- General Medicine / Dentistry
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
- Radiography
- Dietitians / Nutrition
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Medical Physiotherapy
- Health Information Management
- Environmental Health
- Community Health
- Optometry
- Dental Therapy,
- Dental Technology
- Biomedical Engineering
- Psychology
- Medical Physiology
- Veterinary Surgery
However, possession of second-class upper, upper credit or higher shall be considered added advantage. Furthermore, candidates intending to apply for the Nigeria Air Force Direct Short Service Commission graduate cadet jobs, but without relevant disciplines should not .
Application Guidelines – Nigeria Air Force DSSC Graduates Jobs
Interested and qualified applicants are to apply free of charge via the Nigeria Air Force website. Also, applicants are to print out the under-listed documents after completion of the online application. The documents are as follows;
- Attestation Form
- Parent or Guardian Consent Form
- Acknowledgment Form
Opening and Closing Dates for NAF DSSC Job Vacancy Application
The Nigeria Air Force online job application portal shall open as from Tuesday, 22nd October 2019 and close on Tuesday, 19th November 2019. The dates of the final interview exercise run from 8th – 22nd December 2019. However, this exercise shall hold at the Nigeria Air Force Base, Kawo-Kaduna.
Most importantly, please note that the Nigeria Air Force online Registration is free. Similarly, all other enlistment processes by the NAF are also free of charge and no payment should be made at any point throughout the exercise. However, the Attestation Form must be accompanied by the following;
- passport photograph of the signee
- photocopy of the signee’s National ID Card, drivers’ license or international passport.
Similarly, the signee must also endorse his name and signature on the back of his passport photographs. Similarly, the job applicant must do same accordingly.
