MultiChoice has recently floated the DStv Mobile App, which allows full enjoyment of all DStv channels on mobile devices over the internet. In other words, it is the live TV channel and video streaming service for MultiChoice DStv. This article shows you all you need to know about the DStv Mobile App and how to use it. Now you can watch live DStv channels on your mobile phones and other mobile devices by just downloading this new DStv Live channel streaming application from your App Store or Google Play, the DStv Now App.
The good news is that unlike the previously existing method of accessing DStv channels on mobile platforms that you could only get by buying a Drifta, this new application does not require a Drifta.
All you need is to download this new app and you are ready to set sail.
Being a new application, the service is currently exclusive to DStv Premium PVR subscribers for now, however DStv is working on broadening the scope of compatibility and availability to a wider range of subscribers on different subscription platforms.
How To Use The DStv Now App
With the new DStv Mobile App, live TV viewing on mobile phones, tablets and PC is now possible. But how does it work? How can you activate it on your mobile device? It is very simple.
Firstly, you need to have a DStv Connect ID. It is a unique number, which identifies every DStv online user in order to access all internet-based services. Therefore, you can activate the DStv Mobile App after downloading it from your device’s app store with the Connect ID.
You can now watch your favorite movies, series, sports and more on your tablet or smartphone with the DStv Now app.
