Technology is breaking new bounds once again. In automobile technology, we had seen cars with automatic breaking systems, navigation systems, electrical cars and even self-driving cars. However, never have we seen a a mind reading car that takes over the steering. This car does whatever the driver intends to do. Before the driver does anything, the car has already done it. The mind-reading car from Nissan has the ability to know what you are thinking and starts doing it before the driver physically applies it. This breakthrough project from Nissan called “Brain-to-vehicle” technology is the first of its kind, being able to know what you are thinking and doing it perfectly on your car.
Furthermore, this latest project from Nissan will take the hi-tech automobile industry by storm as no other automobile giant has been able to match this technological feat.
“Brain-to-Vehicle” Technology for the Mind Reading Car
The mind reading car from Nissan works by way of the invention of the brain-to-vehicle technology. The vehicle reads the driver’s brain waves (mind) through a skullcap he wears which is covered with electrodes and wires. Through the brain waves, the cap captures what goes on in the driver’s mind and transmits to the willing car controls. As a result, the car obeys and drives itself before the actual driver can apply it physically.
Similarly, the skullcap also reads the driver’s brain waves to increase his response time or adjust his driving style to increase owner’s comfort in autonomous vehicles.
The Mind Reading Car Coming Soon
The company plans to demonstrate its Brain-to-Vehicle technology at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Drivers would wear a skullcap covered in electrodes and wires that would read their brain waves to make the car’s reaction time faster.
Already, there has been a prototype being test-run and so far it has been excellent. However, work is still in progress. Thanks to the Nissan Automobile giant. The pictures below explain further…
How the Mind Reading Car Works (Brain-to-Vehicle)
Let us say the driver decides to turn the car, the technology initiates the process before the driver can actually react to his or her thoughts. In situations involving autonomous cars, a Brain-to-Vehicle system comes into play as well. The mind reading car technology allows the car to adjust its driving style on the owner’s desires.
See what the Nissan Executive Vice President Daniele Schillaci said in a statement. “When most people think about autonomous driving, they have a very impersonal vision of the future. This is where humans relinquish control to the machines. Yet B2V (Brain-to-Vehicle) technology does the opposite, by using signals from their own brain to make the drive even more exciting and enjoyable”.
